For many years, our Entwined Roots Trust has been supporting vulnerable communities in Brooklyn, Ysterplaat and Rugby.
We’ve been working with local partners such as ‘Adopt a Mission’ to offer:
- Food distribution
- Job creation
- Affordable housing
- Rehabilitation from substance abuse
What will we do with your donation?
Adopt a Mission distributes food parcels of fresh vegetables and other non-perishable food items twice a week to over 2,000 vulnerable families.
Your donation will enable them to continue with this much-needed work by:
- Alleviating running costs
- Expanding our outreach
- Responding effectively to urgent needs

Brooklyn Superstars FC has been operating for several years under the wing of the Entwined Roots Trust, a public benefit (PBO) and non-profit organisation (NPO).
We want to re-establish sports in the Brooklyn community. To realise this dream, we need to raise R250,000 this year to cover the running costs of our community football club.
Soccer is a great tool to empower communities. Brooklyn, Ysterplaat and Rugby are plagued by many socio-economic challenges.
When young people become part of our team:
